Biking is Good Food for the Mind

Biking in the open air clears my mind and gives me a chance to reconnect with what is important to me: my health! My latest experience on a biking trip for a week gave me this chance.  This was a quick, last minute decision and one that I prepared for in just under a week. I gathered my biking attire I had from a previous trip and added a few cold weather caps, gloves and socks and some rain gear, then spent 5 days traveling with the group of other professionals with varying levels of experience.

Cell phones and electronics were relatively unnecessary except to grab the incredible scenery.  Forced to enjoy the sights, smells and company of my fellow humans, made going home to work, family and technology a more relaxing thought.
